Lewis and I are still working at Eastern State Hospital, however I have officially retired from the Hospital but am still doing a few hours a week there and still maintain my dental practice. My Dental Auxiliary School is on its 12 year.
Going into our 4nd year the Lord's Handmaidens Red Hat Society group is going strong. We have a wonderful group of 25 women from over 15 chruches. We are still active at the Salvation Army where we attend church.
. We also bought a lake place in Owenton, Kentucky at Elmer Davis lake. I have been taking up bird watching and enjoying the peaceful times especially when the deer and birds come into my yard.
We close the lake place in November and I find myself longing to get back there in March. We just built a building that has a large bathroom, a small bedroom and place for a full size refrigerator. We also put a huge roof over the 5th wheel camper to protect it and we designed it so that when I want to move into another phase we can just pull out the trailer and put walls around the posts and have a cabin. We started a Couples Bible study and started with Beth Moore's study on Daniel. That was great. We met once a month and did a whole session with dinner. It took us 12 months but we really developed some nice friendships. We are preparing to do another one and include others who would like to be apart of our study of the Patriarchs another study by Beth Moore.

Women of Faith has been a very strong influence in my life. Connie DeMichael, my side kick, introduced me to these wonderful events 10 years ago. This year we went on a Women of Faith Alaskan Cruise. I am also the Queen of the Lord's Handmaidens Red Hat Society however I am delegating some our outings for awhile since Michelle, Rachel and I are doing wedding plans. Michelle will be getting married Oct 18th at 10:30am at the Salvation Army here in Lexington, Ky.
